Our goal for turnaround time on most preliminary
plan sales is 7 to 8 weeks. Turnaround time for clients that have placed
their 10% deposits is prioritized and typically runs 4 to 5 weeks. This
will vary from busy season to slower seasons. After determining your
desires and building schedule, choose a course of action that best suits
your needs. Remember, no
one ever started too early on their plans…….however, many will
procrastinate each year until the drafting department is fully booked
and are disappointed at the longer production/delivery times in
the Spring and Summer!

*Drafting Services Fee is fully applicable toward
package purchase and has no effect on client investment. If a client plans
on starting construction in late Winter or early Spring, we
highly recommend ordering plans by August or September. The
initial set of plans can be
prepared while the drafting backlog/lead time is shortest. The clients can then
take their time in reviewing the plans, making notes, and getting
preliminary price quotes. When they are ready to have the touch-up
revisions done, the turnaround time is usually very short and the client
can start construction without any drafting and estimating delays.
Plans are the ‘roadmap’ to building a home.
Without plans, nothing has a chance of moving forward!
